Excerpt: 1

"Open for me"

Wraith's Voice, a husky, resonant command, had her obeying without a second thought, and in an instant, he took what he wanted.  His tongue slipped inside Serena's mouth, and then it slid against her tongue in a fierce, wet caress.

Her body ached, arching without her consent as though seeking his, but he still didn't touch her-the only physical contact between them was where their mouths connected.  It should have made her feel safe that he wasn't trying to ease her into something much more intimate, but somehow this felt as personal as it could get.  He was giving her a taste of what she was missing in her life.

Panic rose up again. Whimpering, she shook her head,

Wraith pulled back slightly. Too far, yet not nearly far enough. "I'm scaring you," he whispered. "But it's not because you're afraid of me."

That was true, but shouldn't admit why she was really afraid. Still, he knew.

"You're afraid it'll lead to more." He let his lips brush hers, barely, but with such passion that she gasped.

Excerpt: 2

"Hey."

Another deep male voice came from behind her, and she turned to the new comer, a man casually dressed in faded jeans and a Guinness T-Shirt, with a backpack draped over his shoulder.  He was tall, close to six and a half feet, with blond hair that fell nearly to his shoulders and a tattoo that extended from the fingers of his right arm all the way up to his face, where the swirling black pattern stretched from jawline to his temple. 

It struck her that this man was the source of the danger vibes.  She could feel it in the way her body flushed with warmth, the way her skin tingled, the way her pulse leaped.

Excerpt: 3 

He dropped his hand to her ass and tugged her hard into his erection. Then he spread her thighs with one of his and curled his fingers into the seam between her butt cheeks.  She stiffened, but she didn't resist when he rocked his leg upward and began a slow, circular grind.

"The words you just said?" Shade asked.

"Yep. So lay it on me." He held out his hand. "We have to be touching. Glad you put your pants on."

There were three things Wraith did well: hunt, fight, and fuck. He was going to do all three tonight. In exactly that order. 

So fuck it. He was going to live. He was going to find the charmed human, take what he needed, and rock on.

Gods, he wanted her in a way he'd never eanted any femail, human, or demon. He wanted to lick her from her arm to her throat, sink his gangs into her and take her like he had in the dream. He could pump into her as her blood pumped into him-

They sank into the booth, her black cargoes sliding across the faux-leather seats.  Marcus wrapped his arm around her waist and tugged her into him.

Perfect. Because yes, she had a vampire fetish her boss, benefactor, and person Aegis Guardian, Valeriu Macek would have a seizures over, and yes, she like to live on the wild side.  But she also like to mix business with pleasure and at this very moment, her business as a treasure hunter involved stealing Marcus's very valuable, very antique bracelet off his wrist.

Lore Moment: 

Speaking of which... the human from last night was standing near the ambulance bay doors, his gaze full of murder. So it was with great pleasure that Lore grasped Gem by her upper arm, puller her around, and kissed her.

He kept his gaze locked on the human, and as he stepped back from Gem, he flipped he guy off. Cold rage burned in the male's eyes, as well as an unspoken threat that promised pain.

Quickie Overview:

Wraith finds out he's dying.  He also learns the hospital is dying as well as his brothers and the only way to save his family is to seduce and charm a charmed one name Serena who  was bitten by a Mara Demon.  This demon gives her a disease that only that said Mara Demon can cure otherwise she will die...  All Wraith has to do is seduce her still the charm which he can only do by taking her virginity, which will cause her to die immediately.. And all wrongs will be set right in UGH world..

Only Wraith falls for her.  She in turn falls for him and she willingly gives up the charm to save his life. (AWW).  On top of all that Kynan is somehow now part of a bigger prophecy (LOD-Lords of Deliverance) Well at least I think he's a big part of LOD.. Who comes back to spark up things between him and Gem, only Gem is not so easy.. Top it off the brothers now have Lore to deal with who is the other assassin sent to kill them by their own brother Roag, only he's their brother too... 

Okay have I confused you enough?  There is also Byzamoth who has a Pinky and the Brain complex to boot... So you see the book is amazing!

Tigris:  I like the similarities of Serena and Wraith... The one key thing they have in common is treasure hunting... The conflict of her Virginity again was genius... Having Wraith invade her dreams was stellar.... In this third book you tied all the smaller stories and plots together and then created a new ones... Having all the different characters would seem chaotic but you turned it into poetry... What is your recipe for the adhesive that holds the multiple story lines together?

Larissa: Aw, thanks. *blushes* But really, it's not a recipe. It's an ingredient: my editor. Seriously. I turn in the book, and she helps me figure out which areas need more glue. I don't know what I would do without her. I'm definitely not someone who could self-publish. I NEED editorial input.

Tigris:  If you could rename Wraith what would it be? Or was the name Wraith a second or a third choice?

Larissa: Wraith was always Wraith. All of the names, in fact, including Eidolon (which, believe it or not, is NOT a made up name,) are connected by the fact that they are all a type of spectral being.
