For a long, desperate moment, Lore did nothing.  And then he cupped her cheek, the pressure so feather-light she barely felt it.

"I've never-" His voice cracked, and he cleared his throat. "I've never felt a woman like this."

"I've never been touched like this." It was an admission she shouldn't have made, but right now she couldn't care.

His heated gaze snapped up to capture hers, and that fast, the smolder was over and the flames burst out of control.  In a mighty surgem he gripped her shoulders and backed her up against the side of the building.

He nuzzled her throuat, nipping and kissing, "Now," he said against her skin. "I'm going to have you now."

Lore had always believed that when it came to sex, the more the merrier.  Too bad for him that when "more" meant mare than just himself, people tended to die.

So what the hell was he doing in bed with a curvy liquor store clerk he'd picked up while on his third tequila run in as many days? 

Sure, technically, he wasn't in bed. He was standing at the foot of the human-looking demon's California King pounding into her from behind as she kneeled on the mattress, moan through her fourth orgasm.

Pressure built in his balls and his shaft throbbed with the need to blow, but no matter what he did, he couldn't ignite.  He gripped her hips harder thrust deeper. Faster.

Nothing.

He lifted her so her knees came off the bed, giving him absolute control as he ground against her with feverish gyrations.

Tigris:  Lore is an assassin due to the debt of his twin sister. He's sent to kill Kynan who in turn is friends with his newly found brothers and Kynan is protected by Idess who in turn falls in love with assassin... That right there is a recipe for a story that rocks the world.... Was there another way the story could have gone? Maybe an earlier version?

Larissa: Oh, yes. In fact, in the very first version, Kynan wasn't even involved. Lore's target was someone else, and again, there's where my editor came in. She made me realize that I needed to up the stakes, so Kynan, who had become so important to the brothers, became the target.

Tigris: The side plots in this were genius as well... You literally set the stage for the next book and further still set the book for your Eternal Riders series with Sin Undone... Can I just pay homage to you now and skip the rest of the Q&A? *bows down at your feet* In completing Lore's book were you satisfied with the end result? Could this have gone another way?

Larissa: LOL -- thank you! And yes, I'm very happy with how Lore's book turned out. I can't imagine it going another way. I will say that the original plan was to bring him into the scene in Desire Unchained, but because I didn't know if there WOULD be a book 4, I didn't write him in. I'm actually glad that I didn't know, because I like the way I brought him into Passion Unleashed better than my initial idea for Desire Unchained.
