 Here is to another quickie review and although I say its quick it may not really be. So of course I read the Fever Series and was told that the Highlander Series has much to do with it. Not completely connected but connected. So I bought the books and was NOT disappointed!

Now I am truly going to give you a quickie, but with their GoodReads Version and a little of mine. So First up is:

Loved Cian as well... And yes there is an 8th book but its on back order and I couldn't get it yet but that one is an Anthology called Tapestry... Will let you know how it all turns out once I get it but all these Highlanders are hot! And get 5 X's cuz they are bomb! There's really 5 there I promise! It just got cut off!

 Some small towns grow really good looking men! This is the case with the four Chase brothers. The home grown hotties are on the wishlist of every single woman in town and Maggie Wright is no exception.

I truly enjoyed reading this book! Its one of Dane's older works but it was awesome. I want to be part of the Chase family! They are a strong and caring group of individuals and the way they handle themselves as a family was just homey. I can't think of a better word. Although I was really pissed at Shane and I am looking forward to his fall into love. Kyle was just awesome the way he handled his feelings for Maggie. Watching the love blossom between the two had to be one of my favorite parts of the book. And yes the smexy was smexy!  I definitely recommend reading this... I will be starting the next book in the series after the new year.

This story I enjoyed so much as well... It was all that I expected and more. Cope is the man! And I am so glad that him and Ella's journey was not rushed but extended into something that can only be described as Sensual Slow like Honey.. Its think messy, complicated, but in the end for all your hard work and effort its sweet and smooth... DAMN I enjoyed reading this. The dynamics of their relationship is real. Their scenario is real, their emotions, again real.

I enjoy how Dane revisits each character from the stories prior, we get to catch up with everyone and see that they are still some bumps and stop signs in the way but in the end it all works out.

Okay I am a total cover whore, I openly admit it... Constantly.. I love this cover and the book just as equally the same. Brock and Jenna's story is just amazing... First you have to remember she was attacked by the ancient. Or was she saved by him.... Those are all questions that were just going through my mind as I read this book. Of course I know the answer and I was just like WOW!

Brock has taken it upon himself to care for Jenna he's talent allows him to take another's pain into himself. The Order has her under constant watch when she is brought to the compound trying to figure out just what did the Ancient do to her. Because Jenna is no longer the same, she is something else entirely...

Jenna and Brock experience an unrelenting appetite for each other, but Breed only mate with the women who bare the birthmark. Jenna doesn't have that but she does have something else. She has exactly what Brock needs to satisfy his hunger. It goes both ways and as the story unfolds you get to see two people both with dark paths get taken with each other.

Even though they agreed to keep it light keep it simple... Its just sex right? WRONG so very WRONG its much much more than than that.

Next up Deeper than Midnight 

The Second Book in the Shadow Keepers 

This story like the first one was really interesting. It drew me and took me for an adventurous ride. Rand was bad ass thug with a very passionate side. Thug could be considered a strong word but if you look at his background and up bringing you will see why it was the way it is. He started out just like any other human, until one day the shit hit the fan and then BAMB! He's a hot sexy werewolf! HOLLA! 

He's given the task to go back to his old stomping ground to figure out who's the bringer of death and laying it at the feet of his boss making the were's seem like they are the ones terrorizing the city.  The Shadow Alliance thinks Rand is a very big part of the problem

Bring in the Succubus Lissa Monroe she owns her own club where clients come in a give pieces of their soul up willing nothing to big just enough to keep the girls and herself feed. Her life is finally her own, but when a visit from the Alliance threatens all that she's accomplished its do or die time. Her target... Rand.. Her mission... find out what he knows and report back.

We of course get to visit old characters Doyle and his sidekick as well as the Vampires we get to meet Petra Lang who has a very interesting talent and horror all on its own. Their are multiple things going behind the back drop and it makes the story that much greater that much stronger. Its perfect game of cat and mouse and the ending puts it all together very well.

 Snippet: 

Without a word, he pressed her back to the tiled shower stall, then dropped to his knees. She had no hair at her crotch--none on her body except for eyelashes and eyebrows and the blond curls that framed her face. She'd said that was the nature of succubi, and right then he fully approved. His hand slipped over her so easily, his fingers sliding in, feeling a wetness that had nothing to do with the shower.

He brought his tongue to her, tasting  her clit, sliding over her warm, slick flesh, making her tremble and gasp. With his hands, he held onto her hips, holding her steady. He wanted to hold her as she lost herself, wanted to know that he was the one who took her there.
